artwork requirements

Proofs:

A colour proof supplied with your artwork is preferred. Without a hard copy we can not guarantee accurate reproduction of your artwork.

When supplying artwork please provide all Pantone colours (including Spot and special colours) and or CMYK used within the artwork and note them on the hard copy.

Fonts:

Where possible always provide all applicable fonts with your artwork.

Our preference is PC True Type Font (TTF) format.

If not possible then always convert fonts to outlines/paths.

Media:

We accept your files via: CD, DVD or e-mail direct to art@symbolized.com.au

Note: Emailed artwork should be kept under 6Mb.

File Formats:

Our art department uses PC based operating systems and we accept most professional file formats from Adobe, CorelDraw, Illustrator, and Microsoft.

Digital photos should be supplied in first generation condition and we prefer .eps, .tiff or .psd files saved in CMYK.  

Files:

Please be sure to include only related artwork on your file. All incoming and out bound files will be virus scanned with McAfee® VirusScan

Bleed:

Any supplied artwork must include 3.0 mm bleed, (artwork bleeds past the finished / cropped document edge). Please contact us first if you are unsure about bleed.
